I hope you enjoyed our session today. I’ve updated our shared page here:
I saved it, so you can do what you like with it and we can always revert to or at least rebuild from an earlier saved version (in case of wipeout).
In fact, you’re invited, requested, and encouraged to please read it over (not much there) and ADD anything that strikes you that we did that’s not recorded there already (or ask questions, whatever). Also can you add to the document any sites you’ve found that help you find your way in the EVO session you’ve decided to explore.
At the end of the document you’re asked to make at least one blog post to our Ning or Posterous blog, or to any blog or public space where we can read your impressions. It doesn’t have to be long (or it could be) but just something that records something you’ve learned so far, or would like to more about, or something that will set us thinking.
This will be of some help to anyone who wasn’t at the session, or who missed any part of it.
I think on Thursday I might talk a little about ways of nurturing a personal learning network but try to leave a lot more time for you to explore your session, or is there anything you’d like to suggest or that you prefer me to do?
I’m cc’ing this to each participant via Outlook and also to the Posterous blog. This means you might get two emails in conjunction with this one communication. Do you think this is overkill? Do you prefer I email you, or the blog?
Personally, I’m learning by doing here, and I hope you are, too
ps: One thing I just learned is you have to be careful of prior conversation attached to your email post. As owner of this site, I can delete what was below, which I was responding to (nothing compromising, just looked odd .. ).
